This is a fabulous Elrathia kingi from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. Specimens of this trilobite were drilled by Native Americans for adornment purposes and have been found hundreds of miles away from the site. Most examples of Elrathia are well under one inch long - this one is a massive one and a half inches long. This fine trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The specimen has been professionally prepared, and there are even two smaller specimens on the plate. This is a large, top quality example of the classic trilobite, Elrathia kingi.
