This is simply a beautiful Lower Cambrian trilobite. It is an extremely colorful Wanneria walcottana from the classic Kinzers Formation of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This striking specimen was recently obtained from an old collection. The bug is wonderfully articulated and exhibits outstanding detail. The long pleural spines are beautifully displayed, and both genal spines are easily seen. The great preservation and the beautiful, natural coloration make for a very collectible fossil. The bright orange coloration is FULLY NATURAL - THERE IS NO ENHANCEMENT OR COLOR ADDED WHATSOEVER! The trilobite is missing the very bottom, but just look at what IS there, not what is not there This is one of the most colorful and impressive Wanneria specimens we have seen, and we have seen a few!
