Here is a specimen of the "classic" stalk-eyed trilobite from Russia. This Asaphus (Neoasaphus) kowalewskii is from the Ordovician. The trilobite is very prone and well articulated. It has nice caramel color and shows great contrast with the light-colored matrix. It is well positioned on a natural slab of matrix. This is a fine specimen of this stalk-eyed trilobite.
