Here is a distinct Lower Cambrian trilobite. This is a distinct specimen of Olenellus gilberti from Nevada. This trilobite is exhibits fine detail. The crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen and the long spines and short telson are clearly defined and beautifully displayed. The bug is well showcased on the large, natural plate of shale. This is a classic Olenellid trilobite from the Lower Cambrian of the Western United States.
