This is a very rare Elrathia kingi from the Middle Cambrian of Utah. This large trilobite is complete and nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The rare part is that the trilobite is a split pair! Elrathia are usually found with no counterpart - one with both halves is quite uncommon. And not just any old one - a large and fully complete one! There is also a smaller Elrathia on the plate - wow! This is one of the better Elrathia trilobite fossils that we have ever had.
