This is an excellent specimen of Modocia hewlisca from the Upper Cambrian of Utah. The trilobite is complete and very nicely articulated. Both free cheeks are present and tight, which is an unusual condition for this particular trilobite. The fossil has good color and contrast. It is well positioned on a somewhat rectangular plate of matrix. This is a very fine specimen of Modocia from the Weeks Formation.
