This is a classic Lower Cambrian trilobite. It is a nice Olenellus thompsoni from Pennsylvania. This distinct specimen came from an old collection - it was found over 20 years ago at the closed Fruitville Quarry site. This trilobite has very good detail preserved. The natural coloration of the fossil is very nice. The bug is well centered on the large, natural matrix plate. This is an affordable example of this famous Lower Cambrian trilobite from Pennsylvania.
