This is a nice Upper Cambrian trilobite. It is a complete Labiostria westropi from British Columbia, Canada. This type of trilobite has long pleural spines and a small fan-tail. These features are well displayed on this specimen. This outstretched trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated -both free cheeks are intact. The bug has good color and contrast and is well showcased on the small block of concretionary matrix. This is a very good example of this distinct Upper Cambrian trilobite.
