Here is a nice, prone Huntonia oklahomae (Huntoniatonia) from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This specimen is from the late Eugene Thomas Collection. The large trilobite is very inflated and exhibits fine detail. Under magnification, the extremely fine detail can be seen on the shell of the trilobite. The large eyes are easily seen, and the large snout and tailspine are also present. The beautiful caramel-colored bug contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossil is well showcased on a large, squared block of sculpted limestone. This is a nice, large, affordable specimen of Huntonia oklahomae from Oklahoma.
