Here is a nice, outstretched specimen of Paciphacops campbelli from the Lower Devonian of Oklahoma. This trilobite is differentiated from Kainops by the fewer number of lenses in the eyes. This specimen is large and very nicely preserved. The bug exhibits fine detail - the granulose glabella is nicely displayed, and the large compound eye of the trilobite is quite evident. The thick-shelled, caramel-colored trilobite contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. The bug is well showcased on the semi-squared block of limestone. This is a very cool example of this small-eyed Phacopid trilobite from the Haragan Formation.
