This is an excellent association fossil from the Middle Devonian of New York. This specimen was found years ago at the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry. There is a beautiful, complete example of Eldredgeops rana on the plate, along with a cephalon and a pygidium. The trilobites are inflated and exhibit fine detail. There are also THIRTEEN Stereolasma rectum horn coral preserved on the plate! The fossils contrast strikingly with the light grey matrix. The specimens are wonderfully showcased on the large, sculpted matrix plate. This is a very collectible plate of MANY different fossils from Devonian sea floor of New York.
