This is a classic Lower Cambrian trilobite. It is a killer Olenellus thompsoni from Pennsylvania. This specimen came from an old collection - it was found over 20 years ago in East Petersburg, not the more common Fruitville Quarry site. This awesome specimen has excellent detail preserved. The genal spines and long pleurons display beautifully. The bug is wonderfully displayed on the natural matrix plate. This is an extremely collectible, top quality example of this famous Lower Cambrian trilobite from Pennsylvania.
