This is an uncommon Olenellid trilobite. It is a distinct Olenellus chiefensis from Nevada. This type has a taller-than-wide head and small glabella - this specimen showcases these features beautifully. This trilobite is somewhat inflated and has very good detail preserved. And, best of all, it is a split pair - the counterpart is intact and included for no charge (not pictured). This is a fine positive/negative example of this unusual Lower Cambrian bug.
