Here is a complete Huntonia lingulifer (Huntoniatonia) from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This specimen was found by Eugene Thomas in 2002 and just now prepared. The long trilobite is very inflated and exhibits fine detail. Under magnification, the extremely fine detail can be seen on the shell of the trilobite. The individual large compound eye facets are mostly intact in both eyes, and the large pygidium has the LONG tailspine present. The beautiful caramel-colored bug contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The fossil is well showcased on a large, squared block of sculpted limestone. This is a nice, outstretched specimen of the long-telsoned Huntonia lingulifer from Oklahoma.
