This is a fabulous spiny trilobite. It is a pristine Kettneraspis williamsi from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. This specimen was prepared by Bob Carroll of Black Cat Mountain in 1999. This outstretched trilobite is wonderfully articulated and exhibits excellent detail. Both free cheeks are present and tightly attached. The long genal spines and the thin pleural spines are beautifully displayed. The protruding eyes are also easily seen, and the ''fringes'' of the free cheeks are clearly defined. The very inflated bug has great color and contrast and is well showcased on the sculpted block of matrix. This is a fantastic specimen of Kettneraspis from Oklahoma - one of the best ever found.
