This is a very beautiful display plate of stalk-eyed trilobites from Russia. These trilobites are Asaphus (Neoasaphus) kowalewskii from the Ordovician. The trilobites are very 3-dimensional and well articulated. They are nicely positioned on a natural block of matrix. They have good color and great contrast. These trilobites are among the favorites of collectors all over the world because of the long stalked eyes. This is a very fine multiple specimen of this stalk-eyed trilobite.
