Here is a very good specimen of Odontochile hausmani from the Devonian of Morocco. This trilobite is complete and wonderfully articulated. It is preserved in a 3-dimensional manner and exhibits good detail. The large, crescent-shaped eyes are easily seen - and many of the individual lenses are clearly defined. The long, broad genal spines and the short caudal spine are nicely displayed. The fossil has excellent, brown to black coloration and contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. It is well presented on the large, natural plate of limestone. This is a fine example of Odontochile hausmani from Morocco.
