This is a fine example of Reedops cephalotes hamlagdadianus from the Devonian of Morocco. Reedops are very under-appreciated because they look so much like the more common Phacops. This trilobite is very well preserved in an outstretched position. The large bug is 3-dimensionally preserved and exhibits fine detail. The ancient arthropod has great natural color and contrast and is wonderfully presented on the sculpted block of limestone. This is a very nice example of Reedops cephalotes hamlagdadianus from North Africa.
