This is one of the rarest trilobites in Oklahoma. It is an example of the elusive ''Bug X'' Acanthopyge from Coal County, Oklahoma. The bug is outstretched, but not well articulated. The pustulose exoskeleton is beautifully preserved. The bulbous glabella is extremely inflated, and the eyes are easily seen. The trilobite is well showcased on the large, sculpted block of marlstone. This is a perfect example for the species collector on a tight budget.
