This is a very rare specimen of a Zelliszkella torrubiae trilobite from the Ordovician of Portugal. The trilobite has great color and contrast. It is well positioned on a squared matrix plate. The detail of the specimen is very fine. The large eyes are quite evident. Even the individual facets of the eyes are preserved. The trilobite is nicely articulated. Many times, trilobites from this site are highly distorted. Not only is this trilobite a rare specimen, it is also a pretty specimen.
