This is an extremely rare trilobite fossil. It is a distinct Dicranurus hamatus elegantus from Oklahoma. This type is one of the most sought-after trilobites from Oklahoma.  The bug is decently articulated, but the bottom of the trilobite is either curled under or missing. The trilobite was prepared with the ''Ram's Horns'' free-standing for optimal display. The free cheeks and long genal spines are intact and very easily seen. Dicranurus is one of the hardest Oklahoma trilobites to find with the free cheeks tightly articulated. This is a nice, affordable specimen of probably the most famous trilobite from Oklahoma.
