Here is a nice prone specimen of Paciphacops campbelli from the Lower Devonian of Oklahoma. This trilobite is differentiated from Kainops by the fewer number of lenses in the eyes. This specimen is outstretched and nicely preserved. The bug is very 3-dimensional and exhibits fine detail. The thick-shelled, caramel-colored trilobite contrasts wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. The right side of the trilobite is somewhat weathered, but the display side is extremely nice (see photo). This is a very 3-D example of this small-eyed Phacopid trilobite from the Haragan Formation.
