Here is a classic Oklahoma trilobite. This is a fine Huntonia lingulifer from the Lower Devonian. This specimen was found by Eugene Thomas in 2004 and just now prepared. This species of Huntonia has a long caudal spine, which is well displayed on this specimen. This distinct trilobite is very 3-dimensional and nicely displayed. The bug exhibits fine detail - the cephalic process is easily seen, and the flaring genal spines are present. The caramel-colored trilobite contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The trilobite is well showcased on the rectangular block of limestone. This is a very affordable example of a ''long-tailed'' Huntonia from Oklahoma.
