This is an excellent example of a very rare trilobite. This is a large Paedeumias transitans from the Lower Cambrian of Pennsylvania. This specimen came from an old collection - it was found over 20 years ago in East Petersburg, not the more common Fruitville Quarry site. The trilobite is complete, with most of the long tailspine going off the edge of the rock. This specimen has fine detail preserved and great natural color - classic Kinzers formation. This is a nice, large example of a complete Paedeumias transitans from Pennsylvania.
