This is a very fine specimen of Jenkinsonia varga from the Wheeler Formation of Utah. Trilobites of this species never get very large and are characterized by their hourglass shape. Type "A" of this species has somewhat longer genal spines. This specimen exhibits the more unusual, very short, flaring genal spines. This trilobite is complete and very well articulated. It has good color and contrast and is perfectly centered on a squared block of matrix. This is an excellent specimen of the Type "B" Jenkinsonia from the Cambrian of Utah.
