This is a very rare trilobite fossil. It is a complete Ptychagnostus praecurrens from the famous Burgess Shale locality. This specimen is from an OLD collection, and was found DECADES ago. This agnostid trilobite has very good detail preserved (MUCH better than the photo shows). The trilobite is easily seen, showcased on the natural plate of shale. This is a very fine specimen for someone who wants a nice trilobite fossil from the classic Burgess Shale.
