This is an excellent example of a very rare trilobite. This is a very cool Paedeumias transitans from the Lower Cambrian of Pennsylvania. This specimen came from an old collection - it was found over 20 years ago in East Petersburg, not the more common Fruitville Quarry site. The trilobite is complete, with the long tailspine intact but partially covered. This specimen has great detail preserved and nice natural color. This is a very fine example of a complete Paedeumias transitans from Pennsylvania.
