Here is a nice, large specimen of Onnia superba. This specimen comes from the Ordovician of Morocco. The specimen is very nicely articulated. The short cephalic spine is present. The "pitted" fringe of the cephalon is quite prominent. The extremely bulbous glabella, the wide triangular pygidium, and the long sweeping genal spines are well displayed. The trilobite has good color and contrast. It is well centered on a rounded block of matrix. This is a very nice specimen of Onnia from the Ktaoua Formation of Morocco.
