This is a very nice multiple trilobite specimen we acquired from a private collector. Both trilobites are Hollardops mesocristata. These 3-dimensional trilobites have distinct pygidial lappets. The large trilobite has excellent eyes - the individual lenses of the compound eyes are easily seen. The black trilobites contrast well with the lighter-colored matrix. The arthropods are well presented on the sculpted block of dense limestone. This is a nice double specimen of Hollardops from Morocco.
