This is an extremely nice specimen of an unidentified asaphid trilobite from the Ordovician of Morocco. This trilobite has not been carved out of the rock like some specimens. The specimen has been prepared with an air-abrasive machine under a microscope. The original "shell" material of the exoskeleton is preserved. The eyes are original and very prominent. The 3-dimensional trilobite has good color and contrast. It is well centered on a rounded block of matrix. The specimen is very slightly contraflexed or "sway-backed". This is one of the nicer specimens, that we have ever seen, of this particular asaphid trilobite from Morocco.
