This is a fine specimen of Olenellus gilberti from the Lower Cambrian of Nevada. The long, crescent-shaped eyes are quite visible, and the telson (tailspine) is easily seen. The detail on the body of the trilobite is excellent. The bug has beautiful, natural coloration, which contrasts well with the color of the matrix. And this is a split pair fossil - the counterpart is included at no charge (not pictured). This is a very nice specimen of Olenellus gilberti from the Western US.
