This is a nice specimen of Drotops megalomanicus from the Devonian of Morocco. The trilobite is very inflated and nicely articulated. It exhibits nice detail. The pustulose nature of the trilobite is readily observable. The faceted eyes are easily seen. It has great color and contrast. It is well centered on a rounded block of limestone matrix. This is a very fine, prone specimen of this large phacopid trilobite from Morocco.
