Here is a nice Flexicalymene retrorsa from the Ordovician of Ohio. This enrolled trilobite is very inflated, has nice articulation, and exhibits extremely fine detail. The free cheeks are present and tightly attached. This bug has wonderful, thick exoskeleton of a brownish color that contrasts very well with the green-grey matrix. There is also a large bryozoan colony preserved on the same plate. This is a nice enrolled specimen of Flexicalymene that displays well with a cool bryozoan colony.
