This is an excellent association fossil from the Middle Devonian of New York. This specimen was found years ago at the famous Penn-Dixie Quarry. There are two examples of Eldredgeops rana rana on the plate. The trilobites are large, inflated, and exhibit fine detail. There are also many small fossils on the plate. The fossils contrast strikingly with the light grey matrix. The trilobites are wonderfully showcased on the large matrix plate. This is a very collectible plate of large Eldredgeops from Devonian sea floor of New York.
