This is a rare Australian trilobite. It is a Xystridura saint-smithi from Queensland, Australia. This specimen has both free cheeks intact - VERY RARE for this type of trilobite. The detail is excellent - you can easily see the glabellar furrows and the unusual shape of the tail. The orange and cream coloration is fully natural. This is without a doubt the best and most complete one of these we have ever had. It is a fabulous example of this unusual Cambrian trilobite from "Down Under".
