Here is a very large specimen of Cheirurus (Crotalocephalina) gibbus from the Devonian of Morocco. This undulating trilobite is extremely 3-dimensional and nicely preserved. The bug is well articulated and exhibits fine detail. The small eyes are quite distinct, and the short genal spines are easily seen. The triangular pleurons terminate into points, and the pygidial spines are intact and clearly defined. The trilobite has cool, natural coloration and contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. The bug is well presented on the sculpted block of dense limestone that also contains another trilobite. This is a very nice, large example of this odd-looking trilobite from Morocco.
