Here is an exciting trilobite specimen from Australia. This is a complete Lejopyge laevigata from the Middle Cambrian of Tasmania. Complete trilobites of this genus are extremely difficult to find - usually they are disarticulated or found as parts. The cephalon, thorax, and isopygus pygidium are beautifully articulated. The detailed bug is nicely showcased on the large plate of sandstone matrix. This is an excellent specimen of a very hard-to-obtain trilobite from Australia.
