This is a fine example of Reedops cephalotes hamlagdadianus from the Devonian of Morocco. Reedops are very under-appreciated because they look so much like the more common Phacops. This trilobite is very well preserved in an arched position, sort of undulating like a snake. The 3-dimensional bug is extremely inflated and exhibits fine detail. The ancient arthropod has great natural color and contrast and is wonderfully presented on the block of sculpted limestone that has a natural hole in it!. This is a very nice example of Reedops cephalotes hamlagdadianus that displays very well.
