Here is a very unusual fossil. This is a set of three enrolled Kainops raymondi from the Devonian of Oklahoma. This fossil has been prepared showcasing two trilobites on one side and one more on the other side - these trilobites are fully natural to the plate! These 3-dimensional trilobites exhibit fine detail - the individual facets of the eyes and the pustulose glabellas are quite evident. The dark bugs contrast wonderfully with the buff-colored matrix and are well presented on the sculpted pillar of limestone. This is a very unique display block of three Kainops trilobites.
