This is an excellent Devonian trilobite. It is a large Reedops deckeri from Oklahoma. This specimen was recently acquired from the Eugene Thomas Collection. The specimen is complete and quite inflated. The bug is very well prepared - the detail is superb, and the compound eye facets are nearly perfect. The fossil is signed by Eugene on the bottom, "ET 2007". This is a very nice prone example of Reedops deckeri from Oklahoma.
