This is a rare trilobite association. It is a fabulous Ampyx priscus and complete Asaphid from the Ordovician of Morocco. This amazing trilobite double was meticulously prepared in the EXTINCTIONS Prep Lab here in Colorado. This trilobite association is REAL, not composited like many Moroccan trilobite plates on the market. The trilobites are wonderfully articulated and exhibit excellent detail. All of the spines and both free cheels are intact and easily seen. The dark orange color of the trilobites contrasts superbly with the light-colored matrix. The bugs are beautifully showcased on the large plate of shale. And, again, these trilobites are REAL! This is an extremely nice Ampyx and Asaphid pair from Morocco - only one of a handful like this that has not been faked. (Specimen is MUCH better than the photo shows.)
