Here is a very cool specimen of two unusual Russian trilobites. On the borrom is a very fine specimen of Asaphus lepidurus. This large specimen has smaller eyes and no genal spines. On the top is a complete example of Asaphus latus. This trilobite has larger eyes prominently displayed. Both trilobites are very 3-dimensional and very nicely articulated. The slightly different colored(!) trilobites contrast beautifully with the off-white matrix. The bugs are naturally preserved on the large block of limestone - NOT composited! This is a top quality, collectible double specimen of two unusual Asaphid trilobites.
