Here is an excellent specimen of Diacalymene ouzregui from the Ordovician of Morocco. This trilobite is nicely preserved in a concretion. Both halves of the concretion are present, so both part and counterpart of the trilobite are well displayed. The two halves of the concretion fit together perfectly to form a rounded ''ball of rock''. This extremely 3-dimensional trilobite is prone and wonderfully articulated - MUCH better than most of the specimens from this site. The trilobite has great natural color and contrasts nicely with the lighter-colored matrix. This is an excellent example of Diacalymene from Morocco.
