This is a rare Canadian trilobite. It is a Xylabion sp. from Ontario, Canada. This type is related to another rare trilobite, Ceraurinus. This specimen is nicely outstretched and nicely centered on the squared matrix block. Some of the shell exoskeleton was weathered and some thin spots filled in, but the "framework" of the exoskeleton is intact. There is also a nice, 3-D bryozoan preserved on the plate. This is a very rare bug, and an outstretched one like this is very hard to find.
