This is an excellent specimen of Bumastus ioxus from the Silurian of New York. The specimen is inflated and well positioned on a somewhat squared slab of matrix. The trilobite has good color and contrast. Both free cheeks are present and the exoskeleton has wonderful "skin". The trilobite is nicely articulated. This is a great specimen of Bumastus from the Rochester Shale.
