Here is an interesting trilobite from the George Lee Collection. This is a very good example of Olenellus clarki from the Marble Mountains of California. Complete trilobites from this site are quite rare. This trilobite exhibits very good detail. The individual thoracic segments are well displayed, and the cephalon is easily seen. The tailspine (telson) is long and extends to the bottom of the plate (hard to see in photo). This is a very nice Olenellus clarki from this classic location.
