Here is an interesting trilobite from a MAJOR trilobite collection. This is a very good example of Esmeraldina rowei from the Campito Formation of Nevada. Trilobites from this Lower Cambrian location are some of the most sought-after in the US, and complete trilobites from this site are quite rare. This classic trilobite exhibits very fine detail. The semi-circular cephalon is easily seen, and the large genal spines are unusually distinct. The trilobite is well showcased on the squared plate of shale. This is a collectible example of Esmeraldina rowei direct from a major collection.
