Here is a rare Utah trilobite. This is Bathyuriscus wasatchensis from the Spence Formation of Utah. This specimen is from a MAJOR trilobite collection. This trilobite is collectible more for its rarity than its completeness and aesthetics. The bug is outstretched and exhibits fine detail. The trilobite is nicely showcased on the plate of shale. And this is a split pair fossil - the counterpart is included at no charge (see photo). This is a nice example of very uncommon trilobite from Utah.
