This is a rare specimen of Mexicella mexicana from the Jangle Limestone Member of Nevada's Cararra Formation. This specimen is from a MAJOR trilobite collection. This trilobite has both free cheeks intact, which is extremely unusual. The bug is inflated for this type and has good detail preserved. The trilobite is nicely showcased on the semi-rectangular plate of shale. This is a collectible example of this rare Cambrian trilobite, formerly a part of a major collection
