This is a spectacular specimen of Redlichia (Pteroredlichia) chinensis from the Cambrian of China. This specimen is from a MAJOR trilobite collection. The trilobite is extremely large for the type and exhibits very fine detail. Usually these trilobites are found with the free cheeks missing - this well-articulated specimen has both free cheeks intact and tightly attached. The long, sweeping genal spines are beautifully displayed, and the individual thoracic segments are easily seen. The bug has very good color and contrast and is well presented on the somewhat rectangular plate. And this is a split pair - both part and counterpart are included here together. This is a top quality example of Redlichia direct from a major collection.
